12 MS TVD Exam Assessement Pack

In your pack you will find:
1.Your notes and exam response
2.Guidance notes on 'The Chase' sequence (suggestions for the 4 areas)
3.The Mark Scheme for the paper

You should write your responses on this sheet. (Print out if on blog!)

You need to:

1.Re-read your notes and exam response

2.Read the guidance notes on the sequence, and compare these to the notes you have made.

3.Highlight anything on the guidance notes sheet that you have missed out in your own notes.
4.Read the Mark Scheme. This explains that you can get up to 50 marks (20 for Analysis; 20 for use of examples; 10 for use of terminology)
5.Looking through the Levels in the mark scheme, give yourself marks for the following:

a. Analysis = ........ / 20
b. Examples = ........... / 20
c. terminology= .............. / 10

Total: ............... / 50

Update - Feb 2009

Well, it has been a long time since I have put anything up here. That is mainly thanks to you, 12MS, for your focused preparations and presentations over the last couple of weeks.

We are rapidly approaching the end of this unit (hurrah!), but you need to be aware of these key dates:

Monday 2nd Feb 2009 - Last presentation and revision session. Please upload all remaining deoconstructions to your blogs.

Wednesday 4th Feb 2009 - Revision and recap in lessons of all technical areas and foci for representation in TVD texts

Monday 9th Feb 2009 - End of unit exam. 30 minutes viewing extract. 45 minutes for written response. We will begin at 12.20 and finish at 13.35.
You will have AOW free to make up for the time, but please sign back in with Rose or your tutors for the afternoon register by 14.15.
